Bandit busted after leaving prints on cheap booze

This “brandy bandit” should have saved the celebrating until after the heist.

A gun-toting thug was busted Tuesday after detectives traced his fingerprints off a bottle of cheap booze he left outside the T-Mobile store in Queens he allegedly robbed, cops say.

Gregory Kennedy, 31, pocketed $11,435 for sticking up 11 Dunkin’ Donuts, T-Mobile stores and motels at gunpoint between Oct. 11 and Dec. 30, police said.

But, on Nov. 25 the hood left an empty bottle of Paul Masson Grand Amber Brandy outside the Jamaica Avenue T-Mobile store before robbing it of $2,750, according to police.

Detectives dusted the bottle for fingerprints and put out a bulletin for Kennedy’s arrest.

He was pulled over for speeding in his black Chevrolet Impala on Tuesday and cuffed.

Kennedy, who has priors for marijuana possession and driving with a suspended license, told detectives that he threw out the .40 caliber pistol, a law enforcement source said.

Police believe he is also responsible for three robberies in Nassau County.
