Plaza ‘rape’ gal’s tears

A Seton Hall student who accused a Canadian businessman of raping her at The Plaza hotel broke down yesterday when she faced off with her alleged attacker in a Manhattan courtroom.

“He’s wearing a red tie,” the 28-year-old Brooklyn bartender said, dissolving into tears as she pointed at Moustapha Ouanes and brought a temporary halt to the trial.

The married 60-year-old engineer, whose clients include the Saudi royal family, is accused of forcing himself on the woman and her friend inside his Plaza room after a pair of boozy late-night stops at Manhattan watering holes in January 2010.

They had followed him there after accepting his offer to join him for a bite.

“As far as the two of them were aware, breakfast really meant breakfast,” prosecutor Samuel David said.

But the woman said she woke up screaming with Ouanes on top of her, after she and her friend passed out in his bed.

A lawyer for Ouanes said the women concocted a story fueled by “anger and greed” once they heard about his connection to the Saudi royalty.
