Private boys basketball roundup: Fieldston tops Dalton, wins second straight

Mike Bregman scored 17 points and A.J. Santos added 14 as Fieldston topped Dalton, 62-44, in Ivy Prep League boys basketball Friday night. The Eagles (15-3, 9-2) have won two straight after falling to Collegiate on Monday and visit Trinity Wednesday at 4:15 p.m. Dalton (11-6, 5-5) hosts Hackley Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.

Collegiate 59, Horace Mann 47: Ryan Frankel scored 16 points and Connor Huff followed with 15 points and 10 rebounds for Collegiate (15-2, 8-1), which has won five in a row and hosts archrival Poly Prep Monday at 5 p.m. in a first-place showdown in the Ivy Prep League. Horace Mann (6-9, 3-5) takes on Browning Monday at 3:45 p.m.

Packer Collegiate 52, St.
Ann’s 41: Ellie Romano scored 16 points, Ethan Feldman had 15 points, Jake Shapiro added 11 and Jake Miller have five steals for Packer (14-3, 12-1), which clinched the ACIS regular-season division title with the win, has won 11 straight games and visits Martin Luther next Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. St. Ann’s faces York Prep Monday at 6 p.m.

NON-LEAGUE

Staten Island Academy 69, Trevor Day School 55: Michael Langford scored 24 points, James Morisano posted 21 points and Alex Morisano added 10 points for Staten Island Academy (11-6), which hosts Berkeley Carroll Monday at 4 p.m. Trevor Day (12-7), which got 15 points from Peter Atkin, faces Loyola Monday at 6 p.m.
