’Do: Not-Quite Half Up The classic three-quarters-up style allows you to keep it super feminine, no matter your hair length or face shape. Plus, it gives those who often wear their hair down an alternative for showing off their big baby blues. To ’do: Curl hair forward to create body. After separating the hair by the temples, tease about every inch, making your way toward the crown. Smooth back and secure with a ponytail. If you tease gently and spritz on enough spray, a tighter-knit beanie cap will help keep it all in place without destroying the volume. * Chinti and Parker star sweater, $545 at net-a-porter.com; Veil pull-on hat, $100 at bernstockspeirs.com

’Do: Braided Ponytail Wearing your hair down might keep you warm, but it gets redundant day after day, so try a ponytail with flair for something different. To ’do: Start by separating the hair into two sections. Pin the lighter top section out of the way and make a ponytail with the bottom pieces. Then, braid a bit on each side and wraps the ends of the braids around the pony, pinning them to cover the hair band. Take the remaining top section that you pinned back and make a braid. Then pull back, wrap around the ponytail and pin again! Keep warm with furry earmuffs that won’t destroy the height of the up ’do or the braided pieces. * Cardigan, $42.80 at forever21.com

’Do: Side French Braid The French braid is a youth-time favorite — especially in the summer months. But with weather like we’ve been having, it’s a great style for warmer winter days, too — especially when you keep it loose. To ’do: Take the fringe area at the front of your hairline (opposite your cowlick) and start doing a traditional French braid, gathering more hair as you go along and guiding it to the side. Wear it under a light cap that won’t mess with it too much. * Tweed dress, $560 at CH Carolina Herrera, 802 Madison Ave.

’Do: Faux Bob To ’do: After drying and setting the hair with a defrizzing product (try SmoothTherapie Smoothing Leave-in-Cream, $14 at biolage.com), tease hair from ends to chin. Smoothe top, then pull hair down and out, while rolling under and pinning to perfection. This is the most delicate look to maintain, so wear a hat that sits lightly on the head like a fedora. * RACHEL Rachel Roy dress, $119 at Macy’s
