‘Three’s Company’ co-stars Suzanne Somers and Joyce DeWitt reunite after 30 years

LOS ANGELES — For the first time in 30 years, “Three’s Company” co-stars Suzanne Somers and Joyce DeWitt met in person again on Somers’ web show “Breaking Through.”

“There’s been ick in the air,” Somers said referencing their public falling out in the late 80s, when Somers was booted from the hit show for demanding a higher pay check.

But Thursday, Somers admitted that after much reflection she realized she was too business-minded at the time.

DeWitt conceded that the male-dominated producers on the show “could not respect the feminine contribution” of the cast.

DeWitt, now 62, played the serious Janet Wood on the comedy while Somers, 65, played the airhead blonde Chrissy Snow on the ABC sitcom about three roommates.

The late actor John Ritter, who died in 2003 at age 54, also starred on the show as swinging bachelor, Jack Tripper.

The duo remembered Ritter “as the greatest physical comic of our era,” but also described him as “incredibly horny.”

DeWitt said she only recently learned that Ritter had romanced many a guest-star on their TV sitcom but said she was completely ignorant of his liaisons at the time.
