The world’s most-hyped 1-month-old just had her coming-out party!
Photos of Blue Ivy Carter appeared online yesterday, along with mom Beyoncé and proud pop Jay-Z.
“We welcome you to share in our joy,” said an introduction to the photo spread. “Thank you for respecting our privacy during this beautiful time in our lives” — signed “The Carter Family.”
The couple posted five photos of little Blue Ivy being cuddled by her proud parents and capturing intimate moments of family life.
In the heartwarming set, the newborn, already sporting a head of long black hair, is shown adorably swaddled in a polka-dot blankie, with one tiny, clenched fist pressed against her ear.
Another photo features proud papa Jay-Z, happily reclining on a chair covered in a white blanket and beaming from ear-to-ear as he tenderly snuggles with the tiny infant cradled in his arms.
A third pic shows Beyoncé in soft focus, resting in bed, with the delightful newborn curled up peacefully on her chest.
The singer’s blue nail polish is clearly visible — possibly as a tribute to her new bundle of joy.
A highlight of the spread is a simple shot of the beautiful baby, wrapped up to her neck in a white blanket. A fifth picture offers an intimate close-up of the new mom and the baby touching fingers.
A rep for the hip-hop power couple confirmed to The Post that the pictures were authentic, but declined further comment.
The emotional and captivating shots are the first of their kind of Blue Ivy to be released to the public.
In an age when celebrities shop baby photos for millions of dollars, the snapshots of Blue Ivy came free to the world, via Tumblr.com, making her one social-media-savvy baby.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z are known for keeping control of their media exposure.
Their marriage in 2008 was hush-hush. The media wasn’t invited, and no photos of the nuptial ceremony were ever leaked.
But it’s hard to top the publicity buildup for Blue Ivy, who already has had her name trademarked by her parents.
Beyoncé announced she was expecting last Aug. 28 during the MTV Video Music Awards. That triggered 8,868 tweets per second, setting a Twitter record.
Then in September, Beyoncé’s sister Solange Knowles let it be known that the couple already knew the gender of the baby-to-be and were picking out names.
More stories followed, about how Beyoncé and Jay-Z had already decked out a 2,200-square-foot nursery in their TriBeCa digs and about how the baby’s due date might be in February.
But Blue Ivy made her debut to the world on Jan. 7 at Lenox Hill Hospital and has been shielded from the public until now.
“We are in heaven,” the proud parents said in a statement. “Her birth was emotional and extremely peaceful.” They added, “It was the best experience of both of our lives.”
