Giants jab at Gisele: ‘Be cute and shut up’

Hey, Gisele, stick to your day job!

The Super Bowl champion Giants blasted the supermodel wife of Patriots quarterback Tom Brady yesterday for her tirade blaming everyone but her husband for their loss in Super Bowl XLVI.

Giants running back Brandon Jacobs, who usually delivers hits to linebackers, didn’t hesitate to take big-mouthed Gisele Bundchen to task during the Giants victory rally at MetLife Stadium.

“[Bundchen] just needs to continue to be cute and shut up,” Jacobs said while on the stadium’s field.

Jacobs was miffed that Bundchen would throw her husband’s co-workers under the bus after the Giants’ 21-17 win.

The Brazilian model was captured on video snapping at heckling Giants fans, who mocked her husband for losing the game.

“You need to catch the ball when you’re supposed to catch the ball,” Bundchen hissed.

“My husband cannot [expletive] throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time. I can’t believe they dropped the ball so many times.”

Even ever-humble Giants quarterback Eli Manning let his disgust show when asked about Bundchen’s comments.

He gave off a telling smirk then decided to take the high road.

“You know, I don’t want to focus on anything negative today,” Manning said after leaving the podium at MetLife Stadium.

“It’s such a great day to be with the greatest fans in the world.”

Giants defensive end Osi Umenyiora said he understood Bundchen’s desire to defend her man, but said she should stay out of the team’s business.

“That’s her husband,” Umenyiora said. “I mean she’s supposed to stay out of things like that. But at the end of the day that’s their relationship and she has the right to say whatever she wants to.”

Asked if Bundchen should apologize, Umenyiora said no, then seemed to have forgotten the model’s name.

“We just won the Super Bowl,” he said. “We’re not saying nothing about whatever her name is.”

Game hero Mario Manningham, who caught an incredible sideline pass from Manning in the fourth quarter, said her comments shouldn’t reflect poorly on Brady.

“It wasn’t the right thing to say — she shouldn’t have said it. But she said it, he didn’t,” Manningham said at the Village Pourhouse in the East Village.

Bundchen and her manager did not immediately respond to messages seeking the supermodel’s comments.

A renowned manners expert said Bundchen showed poor social form in ripping her husband’s co-workers.

“It’s dangerous,” said Daniel Post, great-great grandson of manners icon Emily Post.

“You’re talking about your spouse’s professional life, and comments like that can have real repercussions for him.”
