Rangers’ Fedotenko misses third straight game

BOSTON — Ruslan Fedotenko participated in yesterday’s morning skate, but the Rangers’ winger was not in the lineup for last night’s 3-0 victory in Boston, thus missing his third straight game since suffering a suspected concussion Thursday night as a consequence of a hit from Tampa Bay’s Dominic Moore.

Neither the Rangers nor Fedotenko would confirm that he had indeed been concussed, but the winger’s agent, Allan Walsh, referred to an “epidemic of concussions” in a post on Twitter following the incident and told The Post via email that the hit on his client had “knocked him out.”

“I don’t want to discuss all the medical stuff, but I feel better,” said Fedotenko, who had skated on his own at the Rangers’ practice rink on Monday before flying here with the club that afternoon.

Fedotenko said he was “disappointed” that Moore, who was fined $2,500, did not get a suspension for the blow that came seconds after he was crushed into the boards by the Ranger.

“I’m sure he was maybe not intending to hurt me, but I’m sure he was going after me because I hit him right before that,” Fedotenko said. “But whatever his intention, it’s too bad.

“We’ve been trying to take these plays away from the game so we don’t have any kinds of concussions and hurt each other. It’s—I don’t know what to say—it’s too bad.

“I was angry [when it happened] and I’m disappointed [there was no suspension], but they [the league] have their opinion and made their decision and we’ll go with that.”

Ryan Callahan’s goal on a power-play tap-in from the right post on a lateral from Michael Del Zotto following a cross-ice feed from Marian Gaborik represented the captain’s sixth goal in their last four straight games, ninth in the last 12 and 23rd overall, matching his career high from a season ago.

The Rangers have gone 5-for-13 on the man-advantage over the last three games, scoring on their only opportunity last night.

The Bruins had just one power play as well, that coming when Steve Eminger was called for tripping at 18:10 of the third.

Henrik Lundqvist stopped David Krejci in alone on the man advantage with 32 seconds to go to preserve his 42d career shutout.

Lundqvist has recorded a career 1.20 goals against average and .960 save percentage while going 8-3-2 in Boston, allowing two goals or fewer in 12 of his 13 starts (one goal, five times).

The King has a lifetime 18-5-2 record against the Bruins while the Rangers have gone 19-5-2 against Boston since the lockout.

Brandon Dubinsky received 10 stitches on the inner upper lip and “a couple of chipped teeth” when a puck deflected off his stick and hit him in the mouth with 4:30 to go.

“No worse the wear, I guess,” Dubinsky said .
