A 42-year-old woman was killed on a Bronx street last night after being down by a hit-and-run driver, police said.
A tan Mazda struck the victim, Dawn Affoumani, at around 9:45 p.m. as she crossed the intersection of White Plains Road and Story Avenue, a commercial strip in Soundview.
The callous driver fled and Affoumani was declared dead at the scene by responding EMS workers.
