Ronsons Won’t keep up with Kardashians

RONSONS ROLL

Ronson family matriarch Ann Dexter-Jones was beaming with pride at 1Oak nightclub after daughter Charlotte Ronson’s Friday show. “I thought the show was amazing. It was her best yet,” Dexter-Jones said. The Ronson of the hour, Charlotte, humbly remarked, “I felt good about it.” Despite an encouraging mother, a rock star stepdad, a brother and sister who are star deejays, and herself being a successful fashion designer, Charlotte Ronson gives three good reasons America won’t be “Keeping Up With the Ronsons” on reality TV: “We all work too hard. We’re all focused on different things. We all live in different places.” Plus, they’ve got talent.

LIPPS SERVICE

Tall girls were in high supply Saturday at the Dream Downtown hotel, where Lovecat magazine’s party saw visits from Jamie “Mr. Kate Moss” Hince and Model One Model Management founder Scott Lipps. Lipps, whose model-searching E! TV show “Scouted” just wrapped its first season, said he doesn’t scour the streets of New York for would-be models. “It’s rare you see girls wandering the streets here who don’t already have an agency affiliation,” said Lipps. “One of the girls we actually did sign for the show used to work at a Sonic fast-food place in Texas. That doesn’t happen a lot in New York.” Even after being discovered, Lipps said a model’s chances of making it big are “the same odds of being a professional athlete, actor or musician.” Tonight Lipps and one of his success stories, Helena Christensen, will host a VS magazine party at Electric Room.

BACK IN BLACK

“Precious” star Gabourey Sidibe (inset) entered Christian Siriano’s show draped in black, but left seeing the world through rose-colored lenses. “Oh, it was all so beautiful!” she gushed. “All the colors!” Sidibe was refreshingly excited about every piece that came down the catwalk, but “The Big C” actress’ favorite piece was Siriano’s “bat vein” sleeved motorcycle jacket, which was inspired by the 1933 film “The Vampire Bat.”

MARIO’S ORANGE CRUSH

Popping up at Fashion Week pop-up restaurant Goodness on Saturday, celeb chef Mario Batali admitted he has more of an orange fetish than we originally thought. Not only does the tangerine-maned gourmand have nearly 50 pairs of orange Crocs shoes, but his favorite junk food is orange, too. “I like Doritos,” says Batali (inset). “The salty, cheesiest ones. They have a spicy one with chipotle chile. They’re delicious, but they’re not really that good for you, so I only eat them once a month.” Considering Goodness is a healthy restaurant partnered with Kanon Organic Vodka, the eatery’s CEO, Elettra Wiedemann, who’s also the model daughter of Isabella Rossellini, said, “I don’t think [Doritos] are on the menu today.” As a backup, Batali suggested, “The lasagna is the color of Doritos.”

THE BLUE LINE

Super Bowl champion Ramses Barden (inset) is enjoying his first ever Fashion Week. “I want to learn a bit about how fashion works,” the New York Giants wide receiver told Buzz at the Jill Stuart show on Saturday. “A teammate of mine has a fashion line, so it’s been a hot topic around the locker room.” That teammate, of course, is salsa-dancing fellow wide receiver Victor Cruz. “Right now everybody is calling him ‘Hollywood Cruz,’ because he’s gotten so popular in such a short period of time,” Barden said. “But he deserves it.”
