Lin watches brother play in college

So after playing seven games in 10 days and leading the Knicks to a five-game “Linning streak,’’ what does point-guard phenomenon Jeremy Lin do on his off day?

Of course, he drives four hours to frigid central New York to watch his brother, Joseph, play the final regular-season home game of his freshman campaign for tiny Hamilton College before 783 fans at Scott Field House.

If you thought his alma mater Harvard was small-time basketball, this was as obscure as it gets — Hamilton is in the New England Small College Athletic Conference and yesterday beat Bates, 72-63, in Clinton.

The younger Lin came off the bench to score four points in 15 minutes, making both his shots and notching two assists, two rebounds, a block and a steal. He soared in for one nifty layup high off the glass reminiscent of his famous brother.

Lin already was anticipating the trek as he left the locker room at the Target Center late Saturday night after he delivered the game-winning free throw in the Knicks’ 100-98 victory over Minnesota.

“I’m pretty excited. I get to see my little brother play his last game of the college season with my family,’’ Lin said. “[Today] will be a good day.’’

One major concern with Lin is his body holding up to the rigors of a lockout schedule.

“I don’t know anywhere they play seven games in 10 days on any level,’’ Lin said.
