Knicks guard getting own songs

A couple of songs have surfaced on the Internet regarding Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin, including this one that hit yesterday by recording artist, Stephanie K.

She is a longtime season-ticket holder of the Pistons and sat behind the Knicks bench when the two teams met last month in Auburn Hills, Mich.

With the Knicks blowing out Detroit that night, Lin got into the game for extended garbage time.

Stephanie K came up with a few more puns

He’s got the world asking who is this kid

Passing every test

Beating the NBA’s best

Without Carmelo

Without Amaré

This kid’s gonna be a star

A true underdog, rising to the top

And it doesn’t look like he’s ready to stop

Breaking stereotypes, racking up stats

Not bad for a Harvard grad

Who went undrafted and teams kept waiving him

The New York Knicks should be thoroughly thanking them

Lin-sanity sweeping the nation

Lin-credible, the newest sensation

Lin-teresting, Lin-triguing

So much adrena-Lin, what a fee-Lin’
