Maria Menounos, the hot hostess from “Extra,” is the latest to join the list of stars reportedly getting fitted for dance shoes for “Dancing With the Stars.”
The cast — set to be announced early tomorrow morning — is also said to include “The View” co-host Sherri Shepherd, former “Little House on the Prairie” star Melissa Gilbert and soap star Jack Wagner.
There was even one report yesterday that “Good Morning America” anchor Robin Roberts was a surprise, last-minute addition to the cast.
A year and a half ago, Roberts hinted that the stint on the dance show may be in her future.
And at least one gossip Web site ruminated that naming Roberts was the “ulterior motive for announcing its cast during ‘Good Morning America’ instead of ‘The Bachelor’ [where it is usually done]. It would be cross-promotion gold.”
