Whitney’s burial guard

Even dead, Whitney Houston needs a bodyguard.

Armed security guards have been in place around the clock near the pop icon’s burial site to stop would-be grave robbers from plundering her blinged-out casket and the pricey jewels she was buried in, it was reported yesterday.

The burial site of the 48-year-old singer in Westfield, NJ, has been closed to the general public for the past week after hordes of fans tried to visit Monday.

The family hired the guards this week to guard Houston’s grave for fear that thieves would steal her jewels and clothing, worth an estimated $475,000, Britain’s Daily Star reported.
