A young Brooklyn woman was fatally shot today right before she was due to obtain a new restraining order against a stalker boyfriend—who is now being sought by authorities as a person of interest in the murder, The Post has learned.
Sources today said Bernsley Barthelemy — previously arrested several times for stalking the victim — is being sought for questioning in the early morning murder of Kazan Raoul, 24.
Raoul was shot in the face and arm in the basement of a Brownsville home on Strauss Street this morning, police said.
Cops responding to an anonymous 911 call stumbled into the grisly scene at 6:26 a.m.
Brooklyn District Attorney Charles Hynes said, “Barthelemy is, in every sense, a person of interest.”
