Domino’s ‘DWI’ slay

An allegedly boozed-up Domino’s delivery driver fatally mowed down a grandmother of eight in Brooklyn, law-enforcement sources said.

Margaret Myers, 69, a home-care attendant, was on her way home when a Mazda plowed into her as she crossed Wortman Avenue in East New York Wednesday evening.

“She was coming back from an errand and was just two blocks from her home,” said her son, Devon Myers, 36. “We are torn apart.”

Unlicensed driver Videsh Badal, 34, allegedly sped away, but a witness, Shameeka Gordon, scoured the area with cops and spotted him checking the damage on his car outside a nearby Domino’s, the sources added.

“I just hope he realizes what he’s done,” Myers said. “He didn’t have a license and he was drinking. He should have never been on the road.”

Badal was on a delivery run when the tragedy occurred, employees said. The car did not have a Domino’s sign.

He was charged with vehicular manslaughter, DWI and leaving the scene of an accident with serious injury.

A Domino’s spokesman said Badal was hired eight days ago and passed a driving-background check on Feb. 7.

“After his arrest, we ran [his license] and found out he had been suspended a few weeks ago because of failure to pay a traffic fine,’’ said Domino’s spokesman Tim McIntyre. “The fact he had a suspended driver’s license surprised us.”
