Not just for Passover anymore

A Jewish holiday-themed confectionery is expanding its treats year-round.

Urban Nosh got its start creating Matzel Toff — trendy chocolate-covered matzoh for Passover, which is a few weeks away.

Now it’s added a year-round version, Matzel Bits, and another new product, Holy Macaroons, with more on the way.

Urban Nosh, which recently changed its name from Matzel Toff, because it now sells more products, launched in 2009 with $10,000.

Dylan Lauren, of Dylan’s Candy Bar, was the first retailer to order its products, said co-founder Phillip Guttmann.

Urban Nosh generated $25,000 in revenue in 2009 and has doubled its revenue every year since. Its products are now in more than 100 stores nationwide, including Dylan’s, Fairway Markets, Zabar’s and Dean & Deluca in the city.

Little Town is taking over the 2,500 square-foot space at 366 West 46th St. that was Village Pourhouse Restaurant Row.

Both are owned by Michael Sinensky and Sean McGarr, who also own sideBAR, Village Pourhouse and Hudson Terrace.

The move is to capitalize on “the tremendous response” to Little Town’s first location at 115 East 15th St., the owners say, and to bring more local flavor to an area of the city that primarily serves out-of-towners.

Little Town focuses on locally sourced food and beer.
