The end of Erin Andrews?

It could be the last hurrah for Erin Andrews and ESPN.

Andrews’ last assignment was last weekend (covering the ACC Tournament), she isn’t scheduled to cover anything else and her contract expires July 1, according to a tweet from Sports Illustrated writer Richard Deitsch, which was picked up by yahoo.com.

Andrews, 33, made unwanted headlines in 2008 when she was stalked by a creep named Michael David Barrett, who secretly filmed her in her hotel room and published the video on the Internet.

Barrett was eventually sentenced to 30 months in prison (in 2010) on charges of interstate stalking. He will be released in July, according to the report.

After her harrowing experience, Andrews appeared as a contestant on Season 10 of ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” (in the spring of 2010) and finished in third place behind Evan Lysacek and winner Nicole Scherzinger.

Andrews, who’s been an ESPN sideline reporter since 2004, reportedly signed a two-year deal in 2010 to remain at ESPN, so she could continue covering college football (“College GameDay”).

At the time, she was reportedly being wooed by several other networks.

In recent years, Andrews has appeared as a correspondent for ABC’s “Good Morning America” and covered red-carpet arrivals for last year’s Oscars telecast.

Before joining ESPN, Andrews worked for Fox Sports Florida and Turner South.
