A shoplifter boosted more than $1,000 worth of jewelry from the gift shop at NYU Hospital in Kips Bay, authorities said.

Frank Dadamo, 59, committed the caper inside the First Avenue medical facility at around 10 a.m. March 6, court papers state.

It was recorded on a security camera, and Dadamo, who was caught at the scene, was charged with burglary and grand larceny.

Staten Island

An unlicensed driver was arrested after he was caught cruising through Graniteville in a stolen Saab, authorities said.

Officers spotted John Orlando, 27, behind the wheel of the boosted 1998 sedan near the corner of Renee Place and Lander Avenue at 4:30 p.m. last Friday, court papers state.

A woman and her male cohort were busted pillaging a friend’s car in Elm Park, authorities said.

Liane Sally, 23, yelled at the pal while Paul Ingrassia, 23, allegedly stole a pocketbook and Blackberry from the victim’s vehicle on Willow Road West and Forest Avenue at 10:37 p.m. last Friday.

The thieving duo drove off but were later apprehended and charged with petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property, said a spokesman for DA Dan Donovan.

Brooklyn

An ex-con was gunned down in Bedford-Stuyvesant, police said yesterday.

Donyell Burton, 23, was shot in the back on the corner of Vernon Avenue and Marcus Garvey Boulevard at 5:40 p.m. Sunday.

Burton has five prior arrests and served time on a robbery and weapons-possession conviction, according to prison records.

An elderly man was struck and killed by a van in Borough Park yesterday, authorities said.

The van was traveling northbound on New Utrecht Avenue when it slammed into the 69-year-old victim as he crossed at 12th Avenue at around 12:30 p.m., cops said.

The victim died at Maimonides Hospital while the driver remained on scene, cops added. No criminality is suspected.

A Flatbush man pummeled his gay lover after threatening him with a steak knife during a spat over a text message, law-enforcement sources said.

Abdul Wilson, 34, became enraged after discovering that his victim, also 34, had received a text from a friend while the two were hanging out in their East 21st Street apartment near Regent Place at 7:15 p.m. Saturday, sources said. Wilson allegedly punched the victim about his body, causing minor bruises.

The victim climbed out a window and got into his car. Before he could flee, Wilson allegedly tossed a rock at the car, damaging it. He was arrested by responding cops for assault and criminal mischief.

A mugger robbed a 24-year-old woman in Clinton Hill, cops said.

“Don’t scream, or I will stab you,” the blade-wielding bandit told the frightened woman as he grabbed her from behind on Downing Street at 3:15 a.m. Feb. 29.

The thief fled with the victim’s purple purse and the $70 she had inside.

A purse snatcher with good taste swiped a trendy bag from a chic Fort Greene eatery, cops said.

The sticky-fingered thief bellied up to the bar inside No. 7 restaurant on Greene Avenue at 1 a.m. March 4, and before he left, he lifted the Gucci pocketbook that belonged to a 30-year-old woman who had been sitting next to him, cops said.

Inside the $1,800 handbag was the woman’s Canon PowerShot camera, expensive sunglasses and her debit and credit cards, cops said.

A grabby goon stole a basketball from a 14-year-old girl who had fallen asleep on a subway car passing through Fort Greene, cops said.

The hoodlum targeted the snoozing victim, who was resting her head against her basketball, as a southbound R-train left the DeKalb Avenue station at about 3:30 p.m. March 3.

The thief scratched the tired teen’s jaw while ripping away the $36 ball.

The girl continued to her Bay Ridge home and reported the theft to her mom.

The Bronx

A potty-mouthed woman was busted using a Soundview street as her personal loo, authorities said.

Cops allegedly spied Tamekia Nelson, 36, relieving herself between two parked cars on Boynton Avenue near Watson Avenue at 8:03 p.m. last Wednesday.

She told police she didn’t “give a f–k that you’re standing right there. I’m going to use the bathroom here, and you’re not going to do anything about it,” court papers state.

The shameless woman was booked on exposure charges, authorities said.

A man was brutally stabbed to death in Longwood, police said.

Luis Aguayo, 31, was knifed in the chest and left to die in the street at the corner of East 152nd Street and Prospect Avenue at 9:45 p.m. Saturday, cops said.

Police have not made any arrests and did not immediately know why Aguayo was targeted.

Queens

Police yesterday identified the body of a young woman that washed ashore on Breezy Point Sunday.

Ting Sun, 22, was found near Bayside Drive and Ocean Avenue at about 4:50 p.m. Sunday by officers responding to a 911 call.

The medical examiner will perform an autopsy.
