A Bronx man with a lengthy criminal record was shot dead yesterday in Harlem, cops said.

Bilal Muhamand, 33, was blasted once in the torso while fighting with a foe on West 138th Street at 12:07 a.m., cops said.

Muhamand, who had 12 prior arrests, for assault, weapons and robbery, died at Harlem Hospital. The killer remains on the lam.

A shoplifter was busted with $3,186 worth of merchandise from Bloomingdale’s on the Upper East Side, authorities said.

Alfonso Rodriguez, 31, allegedly tried to smuggle a shirt, pants and a coat past the registers of the Third Avenue department store at around 9:45 p.m. Friday.

Store security stopped the crook and recovered the clothing, court papers state.

Rodriguez was charged with grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.

A savage ex-con bit his girlfriend’s hand, took her purse and threatened her with bodily harm in Fort Greene, cops said.

“When we get home I’m going to put a boot up your ass,” Jerrel Teel, 27, allegedly snarled at the 23-year-old woman amid their heated argument in the Department of Motor Vehicles branch on Atlantic Avenue at about 2:25 p.m. on March 2.

Teel then chomped on the woman’s left thumb and swiped her bag containing $80, cops said.

Teel — who lives with the victim in South Jamaica, Queens — was arrested the next day, cops added.

He has served time behind bars on an assault conviction and was paroled in February 2011, records indicate.

A thief is wanted for using a stolen credit card for a shopping spree in Woodside, police said.

A 58-year-old man left his wallet behind at the Staples on Broadway at around 10 a.m. on Feb. 21, cops said.

Later in the day, one of his cards was used to buy goods at a Marshalls half a mile away on Northern Boulevard, cops said.

A deranged driver mowed down and nearly killed a police officer in Fordham Manor, authorities said.

Aneudy Garcia, 29, was incessantly blowing the horn of his 2008 Cadillac Escalade near East 193rd Street and Morris Avenue at about 10:50 p.m. on March 7 when the cop approached the SUV to investigate, court papers state.

“Don’t be knocking on my f–king window,” Garcia barked when the officer tapped on the driver-side glass with a flashlight, the papers add.

When the cop instructed Garcia to hand over his license, the motorist floored the gas pedal and began zooming off as the officer held on to the vehicle to avoid being run over, cops said.

The officer seconds later fell to the ground as Garcia sped off, cops added.

The officer received hospital treatment for hand and facial cuts.

Garcia was soon arrested on charges of assault and leaving the scene of an incident.

Staten Island

A graffiti vandal was caught wet-handed in New Springville, authorities said.

Paul Bruno, 25, was arrested at 11 p.m. Monday after he was spotted tagging two buildings and a Dumpster on Forest Hill Road, court papers state.

When police nabbed him, his handiwork was still drying and Bruno had two cans of spray paint and gloves by his feet, cops said.

Two brothers whose younger sibling had been robbed in Stapleton attacked the two men they thought were the thieves, authorities said.

Aaron Lawrence, 19, punched one victim in the face while Lawrence’s 21-year-old sibling, Andre, stabbed the man in the back during the fracas at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Wright and Broad streets, court documents indicate.

The second victim was pummeled, tossed to the ground and stabbed in the leg, cops added.

The brothers claimed that the assault victims had taken the younger sibling’s hat and cellphone to settle a debt, cops said.

The victims required hospital treatment and the brothers were busted Monday, said a spokesman for District Attorney Daniel Donovan.
