Cops use iPhone to track down abusive Queens man who had fled with one-year-old daughter

Cops last night used an iPhone to track down an abusive Queens man who had fled with his 1-year-old daughter, authorities said.

When cops arrived at 6:10 p.m. to the scene of a domestic dispute in Woodside, a woman told them her husband, Alexis Torres, had assaulted her and left with their child.

After learning that Torres, 30, was carrying his iPhone, they tracked him to Brooklyn and later to Manhattan.

Torres, a Department of Education employee, was arrested near Union Square.

He was charged with assault, strangulation and endangering the welfare of a child.
