The blues for Justin

Justin Timberlake has a hole in his heart from the one who got away.

The famous bachelor tells Vanity Fair magazine that he didn’t want to dish about his former girlfriend Jessica Biel because he’s never had a more “significant” person in his life.

“I would rather not talk about her, because it’s hurtful for me,” said Timberlake, who split up with Biel in March. “I don’t want to say much more, because I have to protect things that are dear to me — for instance, her.”

He continued, “She is single-handedly most significant person in my life. In my 30 years, she is the most special person, OK? So I protect it.”

In VF’s July edition, Timberlake posed for a series of sophisticated but steamy photos with model Lara Stone.

The two rocked retro clothes, striking an early-1960s “Mad Men” look.

In the wide-ranging chat, Timberlake also rescinded his apology for Janet Jackson’s infamous “wardrobe malfunction” at the 2004 Super Bowl.

“[In] hindsight, I probably should have been more pro-artist instead of a trying to please everyone,” he said.

” ‘The FCC is pissed — oh, man, what do we need to do?’ Today, I might have said, ‘Screw that.’ ”

Timberlake hinted that his music career — as a live performer, at least — might be over soon.

“I could see myself only doing one more big [concert] tour,” he said.

The former child performer has been working nonstop since age 11, going back to his days on “Star Search” and “The All-New Mickey Mouse Club.”

Timberlake said he likes being 30 and looks forward to more time off.

If he weren’t such a music-and-screen sensation, the former ‘N Sync member might come off like a slacker.

“I want to not have a schedule. I want to go to the Dodgers game if I feel like it. ‘Hey, do you guys want to play basketball today? Cool let’s do that.’ I’ve never given myself the opportunity to be spontaneous.”
