LOS ANGELES — New Kids on the Block singer Joey McIntyre announced Wednesday the arrival of his third child, a girl.
“Kira Katherine McIntyre was born May 31st at 12:30 pm PST. 7 lbs., 3 oz., 21 in.,” he tweeted to fans.
“A beautiful baby girl with great timing and gorgeous hair,” he added.
The newborn joins older brothers, Griffin, age three, and Rhys, 17 months.
McIntyre, 38, and his wife, Barrett, 32, previously said they would keep having children until they had a girl, so this could be the last for the couple of seven years.
McIntyre will soon return to performing as part of the New Kids on the Block comeback tour with fellow boy band the Backstreet Boys. The multi-city tour officially kicked off May 25 and runs through the summer.
