Beauty-salon job got pretty ugly: sex-harass suit

A Long Island beauty-salon owner who fancies himself a stylist to supermodels and stars is being sued by a young employee who claims he made ugly sexual comments and regularly groped her while customers were in the shop.

In the lawsuit, Brittney Sossi claims that Dimitri Abramov, who runs the Miha’Liya Hair Studio in Rockville Centre, pressured her to have sex and skirt-chased her while paying her less than minimum wage without overtime.

Sossi, 21, filed the sexual-harassment suit against Abramov, 33, of Hewlett Friday.

Abramov “brings in young girls and tries to rob their innocence,” said Sossi’s lawyer, Thomas Ricotta. “He also robbed her pocketbook – because he was paying her a flat rate for 12 hours a day, less than minimum wage.”

Abramov claims on his Facebook page that he does styling for rocker Bryan Adams, actors Minnie Driver and Liev Schreiber and supermodels Melissa Keller, Yamila Diaz and Karen Ferrari.

When questioned about the suit outside his shop, Abramov refused to comment.
