Publicity princess Lizzie Grubman failed to pay her high-profile personal trainer nearly $10,000 for workout sessions with her and her estranged husband at their Manhattan apartment, the fitness guru claims.
Upper East Side trainer Jeff Halevy is the latest in a string of people who say Grubman failed to pay them for services.
Halevy “walked away” from Grubman’s business in July 2009 after working as her personal trainer for three months.
He says she bounced checks and twice told him to go to her home to collect cash but was turned away by staff both times.
“She wrote me several bad checks and lied repeatedly about leaving cash to pay me,” Halevy, 32, told The Post.
But Grubman insists Halevy signed a contract to provide the workouts for free — because he was a client of her firm.
“We don’t owe him any money — period,” an angry Grubman said.
