Kid stuff

Today

Be spoke: Pedal pushers of all ages are welcome at Socrates Sculpture Park’s Fourth Annual Bike Parade, where there’ll be bike swaps, safety lessons, helmet fittings and a bicycle-decorating workshop before the 3 p.m. parade. Stick around afterward for a party on the waterfront. 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., free. 32-01 Vernon Blvd., Long Island City, Queens; 718-956-1819.

Mini masters: Get a sneak peek at the work of NYC’s future art-world stars at the Children’s Museum of the Arts’ Celebration of Children’s Artwork, where public school students’ sculptures, drawings, animated films and other creations will be on display. The all-student band Once Again will provide a live soundtrack; other students will lead workshops on animation and printmaking. 5 to 7 p.m., $10 per person. 182 Lafayette St., between Broome and Grand streets; 212-274-0986.

Tomorrow

No yolk: Nothing says Lower East Side like the Museum at Eldridge Street’s annual Egg Rolls and Egg Creams street festival, where the East Village pays homage to its immigrant roots with live klezmer music, Chinese acrobats, calligraphy workshops, mah-jongg and more. Noon to 4 p.m., free (bring cash for food). 12 Eldridge St., at Division Street; 212-219-0888.

Brass tracks: Sort of like a one-woman trio, Amy Cervini sings and plays the piano and sax to create “Jazz for Kids” at the 55 Bar. (Don’t worry — you’ll like it, too.) 2 p.m., $5. 55 Christopher St., at Seventh Avenue; 212-929-9883.

Still to come

Sock it to ya: Local boys the Dirty Sock Funtime Band are back from their first overseas tour, where they performed for Navy families from Bahrain to Italy, and they’ll be busting out tunes from new CD “Sock-a-Delic” at their old haunt, Madison Square Park, on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Free! Between Fifth and Madison avenues and 23rd and 26th streets; 212-538-1884.
