Never mind her belly, what’s in Huma’s head?

THE ISSUE: News that scandal-scarred Rep. Anthony Weiner’s wife is pregnant.

***

Huma Abedin will never stand up and kick her husband, Rep. Anthony Weiner, to the curb, because she was nursed at the breast of Hillary Clinton, the woman who stood by her serial-cheating husband (“Pop Goes the Weasel,” June 9).

After all, holding on to power and influence is far more important than love or integrity.

I’ve never been a fan of Weiner’s. In my opinion, he is nothing more than a self-promoting, arrogant blowhard who appears to care about no one but himself.

But I think a line has been crossed when the media start going after his wife, who happens to be the biggest victim in all this.

And they went totally overboard when they began to drag her pregnancy into the sordid mess.

This lovely lady does not deserve to be ridiculed and embarrassed in front of the entire world.

The only thing she did wrong was to fall in love with the guy.

Weiner makes Tiger Woods and the Sperminator look like men of morals — at least they’re not congressmen.

Let’s hope Weiner resigns quietly and lets his poor pregnant wife deal with his arrested development.

He needs to receive psychiatric help, not represent the people of New York.

It appears that the liberal media are all doing stories on the “great” Huma.

Do you think they injected her into this perverted story to protect Weiner?

With his wife pregnant, Weiner is in the midst of a serious and embarrassing sexting scandal and is being heavily pressured to quit his job.

This is not a good time to be a Weiner.

Obviously, Abedin is getting advice from the Clintons.

As Weiner didn’t send outrageous nude pictures and creepy sext messages to the daughters of any “important” families, why should her husband resign?

In Hillary, Huma and Anne Strauss-Kahn’s world, the women targeted in news reports involving the alleged behavior of their spouses are all from a class made up of service employees, chambermaids, porn stars, college students and interns who have zero worth in the power-hungry circles these families live in.

Will Huma Abedin run for president next?
