Down Dow

Stocks fell yesterday, giving the market its sev enth losing week of the last eight. The Dow Jones industrial average fell 115.42 points, to 11,934.58. The Standard & Poor’s 500 index fell 15.05, to 1,268.45. The Nasdaq composite fell 33.86, to 2,652.89.

Citi scam

Citigroup said about 3,400 customers lost about $2.7 million when their credit-card information was breached by hackers earlier this year. The customers will be re imbursed, a spokesman said. Also yesterday, Jerry Grundhofer re signed from the com pany’s board of direc tors. Citigroup didn’t provide a reason.

BuyDaddy

GoDaddy, the domain- name registration com pany known for its racy Super Bowl ads, is close to being purchased by Silver Lake Partners and KKR firms for $2 billion to $2.5 billion, according to a person close to the deal.

Growth tepid

GDP grew at an infla- tion-adjusted annual rate of 1.9 percent in the first three months of 2011, re- vised up from 1.8 percent.
