Lindsay Lohan has dodged another bullet — and is no longer allowed to party at home.

A miffed LA judge sternly told Lohan to stop doing “stupid things” before cutting Linz a huge break and declining to send her to jail — over a law-enforcement foul up.

“You are guilty of extremely poor judgement,” Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner told Lohan, who broke down in tears.

“Don’t give people a reason to hate you. Don’t do stupid things.”

The “Mean Girls” actress failed a urine test for booze, it was revealed during this morning’s hearing.

But Lohan caught a break because the original probation order called for her to be tested for drugs, not alcohol. So that made this failed booze test irrelevant.

“It was not a technicality, it was not a loophole, it was a misunderstanding by the probation department,” said Lohan’s lawyer Shawn Holley, explaining why her client shouldn’t have been tested for booze in the first place.

“She is in compliance. She has done nothing wrong.”

Lohan’s next court date is July 21.

The 24-year-old actress is currently under house arrest for violating probation when Sautner found there was enough evidence to believe Linz had ripped off a necklace earlier this year.

The actress had appeared to be doing well, under home confinement, and was prepared to do a 15-minute sit down with NBC “Today” show anchor Matt Lauer this morning, trumpeting her comeback.

Instead, she suddenly pulled the plug because of this hastily called hearing.

Sautner told the actress to get her act together and take her house arrest more seriously. The judge was angry with Lohan for throwing a barbecue last month on top of her condo’s roof.

“House arrest is akin to jail, you can’t have a barbecue in jail,” Sautner said. “You are allowed one friend over at a time and family if you wish.”

Sautner also revealed that Lohan frequently blows off phone calls from probation officers.

The judge warned Lohan: “If probation calls, you must answer.”

Lohan wore black pants, a light blue-and-white stripped shirt and had her blonde hair tied in a pony tail.

The probation violation stems from her deal on a 2007 drunken-driving case.

On her Twitter account, Lohan later wrote: “Thank you to all of my fans for your support. Sending you Love and Light. xo.”
