Bridge-stunt arrests

Two performance artists were busted last night after putting on a show on top of one of the towers of the Williamsburg Bridge.

The cops didn’t give the performance a very good review — Seanna Sharpe, 24, of Brooklyn and Thomas Skinner, 27, of North Carolina, were charged with reckless endangerment, obstructing governmental administration and criminal trespass.

Sharpe deployed 90 feet of rope from the tower, tied it to the girders and used it to perform a swinging aerial dance, the Wall Street Journal reported.

An audience of about 100 people gathered, after apparently being alerted by an email sent earlier in the day, according to the paper.

Sharpe told the Journal her motivation was to “face my fear and inspire others to face their fears.”

The show lasted about 15 minutes, after which the two stars spent the rest of the night in police custody.
