Indonesian fishermen yesterday found the body of a Long Island surfer who went missing last weekend in waters off Sumatra island.
Daniel Bobis, 32, apparently hit another surfer’s board after emerging from the barrel of a powerful, 10-foot wave. His body was found about 20 miles away.
Bobis was a math teacher and surf-team coach at Long Beach HS. He had been vacationing with his wife.
