The Big Apple is tied in an embarrassing 32nd place with Montreal; Marseilles, France; and Palermo, Sicily.

Officials have ruled that a vanity license plate, “LMAOATU,” is offensive.

The acronym, which stands for “laughing my ass off at you, is just an inside joke, said car owners Neil and Brooke Manas.
