Food wars

Whether you’re talking hip-hop or hot dogs, East Coast/West Coast rivalries go deep. This summer, three of our slow-walking, avocado-loving brethren are bringing it: a couple of Bay Area brothers who have just turned their Cal-Mex taqueria Dos Toros into a Manhattan chain; LA-based bakery Sprinkles Cupcakes, which is giving Magnolia a run for its icing; and the San Francisco pizzaiola place that’s trying to out-cheese Joe’s.

But how do they compare to New York born-and-bred eats? The Post polled several coast-hopping customers on whose dish is most delicious, and who should be going-going, back-back, to Cali, Cali . . .
