Aretha the Queen of Coney Is.

Embattled Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz is finally getting some R-E-S-P-E-C-T.

Aretha Franklin is set to perform tonight in Coney Island — her first-ever Brooklyn show — as part of the Beep’s Seaside Summer Concert series.

Markowitz says she’s the biggest headliner he’s ever nabbed for the free series now in its 33rd year.

“I know I speak for all Brooklynites when I say we’re thrilled to welcome the Queen of Soul to the County of Kings,” said Markowitz, who funds the concerts through nonprofit groups set up to raise big bucks for his promotional pet projects.

Franklin last summer was slated to perform at Coney Island and at another concert series hosted by Markowitz in East Flatbush. But she pulled out of both after fracturing ribs in a fall.

The injury also caused her to pull out of being the headline performer at Rep. Charles Rangel’s 80th-birth- day fund-raiser last summer as Rangel’s corruption scandal was in full throttle.

Tonight’s show will begin at 7:30 p.m. at West 21st Street between the boardwalk and Surf Avenue.
