Search on for missing Harlem grandmother

An elderly Harlem woman suffering from Alzheimer’s wandered off from her home over the weekend and has yet to be found.

Betty Wendler, 84, was last seen Sunday around 11:30 a.m. after slipping out of her home at 1945 Amsterdam Ave. while her home-health attendant was in the bathroom, her family and authorities said.

The missing grandma is described as 5’6″ and 140 pounds, with short black hair. She was wearing a purple shirt, blue jeans, white sneakers and eyeglasses when she disappeared and uses a cane to walk.

Her family said she has no money on her and only has a bracelet ID.
