‘Law & Order: SVU’ season premiere to feature storyline inspired by DSK case

This “Law & Order” episode just had to be maid.

The Big Apple-set crime show “Law & Order: SVU” season premiere will rip the Dominique Strauss-Kahn drama straight from the headlines, with a fictional tale of an Italian dignitary accused of rape.

NBC has cast Franco Nero, 69, who played the chief baddy Gen. Esperanza in “Die Hard 2,” as the Strauss-Kahn knockoff, according to TV Guide.

It will air this fall.

Meanwhile, the real Strauss-Kahn is due back in court Aug. 23 on charges he sexually assaulted a Sofitel maid.
