Gaga will be doing windows

Barneys is going Gaga for Christmas.

The iconic clothing store will fork over control of its holiday campaign to the kooky and wildly popular songstress, company officials announced yesterday.

Barneys dubbed the project “Gaga’s Workshop,” giving Lady Gaga and her artistic team free rein for their “interpretation of the iconic Santa’s Workshop,” the store said.

Beginning in mid-November, Team Gaga will have control of the famed windows on Madison Avenue and the entire men’s store on the fifth floor. Gaga’s fans, known as her “Little Monsters,” and other holiday shoppers will have the chance to buy unspecified small gift items designed by the singer.

Barneys promised to give 25 percent of proceeds from those Gaga gifts to a charity she picks.

Barneys New York CEO Mark Lee said pairing with the eccentric singer was a no-brainer: “Lady Gaga is a rare cultural phenomenon, not only because of her exceptional talents as a singer . . . but also with regard to her support of equality and individuality and status as a fashion icon.”
