A nine-room trophy apartment at uber-exclusive 740 Park Ave. is quietly on the market for $29 million. The 17th-floor co-op, which isn’t even listed online, is owned by gaming veteran Gregory Fischbach, the founder of now-defunct video-game company Acclaim Entertainment, and his wife, Linda. He bought it in 1994 for $6.3 million.

Residents at 740 Park, one of the most expensive and coveted buildings in the city, have included John D. Rockefeller Jr., Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, David Koch, Ronald Lauder, John Thain and Vera Wang.

Fischbach is now a managing partner of HamptonFarms Ventures, a company he founded that invests in technology, media and gaming. He is also president and CEO of Yoostar Entertainment, a startup offering software that enables users to edit themselves into movie clips.

Looking snappy

Photographer Jonas Karlsson, whose portraits frequently appear in Vanity Fair, just purchased a TriBeCa penthouse at 16 Desbrosses St. for $4.57 million.

The three-bedroom, 3¹/‚‚-bathroom condo is around 3,300 square feet with 23-foot ceilings and a steel, copper and marble staircase. There are two terraces, including a roof terrace with city and river views.

Karlsson’s broker, Fredrik Eklund of Prudential Douglas Elliman, could not be reached for comment.

Big man gets a look

New Orleans Hornets center Emeka Okafor has been keeping himself busy during the NBA lockout.

He’s on a Manhattan home search and recently toured an $8.75 million, 3,616-square-foot, four-bedroom, four-bathroom TriBeCa loft at 408 Greenwich St.

The 6-foot-10 Okafor has also been uptown to check out several condos at the Upper East Side’s Lucida building. That sleek development includes a La Palestra fitness center, which offers access to a staff of trainers and “medical experts.”

We hear …

That developer Joe Farrell is completing the Polo Club Condominium, six luxury townhouses on 3 acres on David White’s Lane in Southampton Village. The residences, which will range from 2,000 square feet to 2,800 square feet and be priced from $1.69 million to $1.99 million, are dubbed “mini-Farrells” because the developer is known for building giant Hamptons mansions. The new townhouses will each have three to four bedrooms, a den and a big gourmet kitchen … That cabaret singer and former kids’ clothing designer Beverly Ann Taki has rented an apartment at 200 Central Park South, listed by Robert Varvara of Miron Properties, for $12,400 a month. The rental follows the sale of her three-bedroom apartment at 850 Park Ave., which she unloaded for $4.4 million. That Gumley Haft Kleier listing was recently seen on HGTV’s “Selling New York” … That “True Blood” actor Nelsan Ellis is living at 20 Pine St. and was seen having a cocktail at a recent open house in the Financial District building … That crooning couple Elvis Costello and Diana Krall could be getting some new neighbors in their Greenwich Village building. An 880-square-foot penthouse at 101 W. 12th St. is on the market for $1.495 million. The one-bedroom co-op, with a terrace offering river views, is listed by Sabrina Seidner of Nest Seekers International.

Cook out

Restaurateur and chef Richard Sandoval just sold his apartment at 207 E. 57th St. (right), the building where Oprah Winfrey owns the penthouse. (Winfrey let her best gal pal, Gayle King, live there and is renting out the apartment now that King has moved.)

Sandoval, whose latest venture is in the new Yotel hotel, sold the three-bedroom, three-bathroom condo for $2.145 million. The 1,550-square-foot apartment is in a building with only two residences on each floor.

Listing broker Penny Crone of Prudential Douglas Elliman, who also lives in the building, declined to comment.
