The NYPD has launched an investigation after a raunchy YouTube video surfaced featuring uniformed officers gyrating and rubbing their crotches against semi-nude women at the violence-racked West Indian Day Parade in Brooklyn.
The explicit footage shows the cops wildly bumping and grinding against the sexy, barely clad dancers as the women strut their stuff in the raucous Sept. 5 parade on Eastern Parkway in Crown Heights.
Some of the string-bikini-clad dancers bend over in front of the laughing officers as the crowd cheers, the video shows.
The women then back up into the officers’ crotches and rub their buttocks up against them as the cops grind in return, gleefully waving their arms in the air.
At one point, an enthusiastic officer even spreads his legs into a wider stance to more energetically thrust his pelvis into the rear of the dancer, with both of them bending over to better simulate a sex act.
The Caribbean-themed festival was especially violent this year, with nine people shot — including two fatally — along or near the parade route.
One of the dead was a Crown Heights grandmother who may have been struck by a police bullet as officers began firing during a gun battle between two perps, one of whom was killed.
Two officers were hurt in the shooting.
Earlier in the day, another gunman had fired into the air just blocks from where Mayor Bloomberg was marching.
A police spokesman confirmed that the officers’ dirty dancing is being investigated.
One female cop who worked the parade but hadn’t witnessed the raunchy antics first-hand said she was shocked by the video.
“Now that it’s out there, [police brass] are definitely going to try to identify these guys. [Those involved] are gonna have problems,’’ she said.
But a veteran male cop who also worked the parade route dismissed the video as much ado about nothing.
“It was a happy crowd,” he said. “Everybody was happy and having a good time at that point.’’
“What’s the big f–king deal? Every year, women try and take pictures with cops in their uniforms.’’
