351-pound pot bust

Police snatched 351 pounds of marijuana off the Bronx streets yesterday and arrested two men, including 80’s reggae singer Denroy Morgan, cops said.

Narcotics detectives, working a case on Taylor Avenue in Soundview, happened to see Morgan, 66, who lives in Spingfield, Mass., leaving an apartment building nearby.

They said could smell marijuana coming from the trunk of his car, where they reported finding 25 pounds.

The detectives later pulled over Wayne Swavy, 46, of Mount Vernon, after he was spotted leaving the same building, scoring another 16 pounds of marijuana, authorities said.

The officers then obtained a search warrant and found a whopping 310 pounds of marijuana in the building. Cops said the drugs could go for as much as $351,000 on the street.

Morgan’s one big hit was the 1981 recording “I’ll Do Anything for You.’’

Both men were busted for criminal possession of pot.
