Frances has no Love for photo shoot

Bean seen

After briefly mistaking Buzz for the help at Sunday’s Edun show (“Hi. Do you know where my seat is?”), Courtney Love admitted to us that her daughter, 19-year-old Frances Bean Cobain, isn’t crazy about the gorgeous black-and-white photo shoot she recently did with former Dior menswear designer Hedi Slimane. “She hated [the way it was handled]. Hedi wasn’t supposed to leak it,” Love said, with a touch of mother-bear ferocity. “He put it on his blog, but she didn’t want it public. She just did it [the photos] for herself.”

The Butler did it

Gerard Butler enjoyed the Diesel show, but is pushing for the label to make kilts. “I would wear one,” the Scotsman told us backstage. The well-known womanizer says he loves this time of year. “Fashion Week is always a time in New York when the amount of beautiful women increases by 1,000 percent, so that’s one of the main reasons I like Fashion Week.” Butler says rumors about his personal life amuse him. “There was one recently about me having had a heart attack. I’d gone to the doctor because I had a chest infection. It became ‘he went in with a drinking problem,’ then it went ‘he had a heart attack.’ There have definitely been no heart attacks.”

Sibling support

There was high drama following the J.Crew show when Beyoncé and her sister, Solange Knowles, rushed into the Mercedes-Benz Star Lounge following what appeared to be some sort of personal issue. The VIP lounge was cleared for more than half an hour as Beyoncé consoled Solange, who was in tears. Barely able to touch the food on the plate in front of her, Solange sat in silence while Beyoncé changed into a Vera Wang dress that hid her baby bump. The two continued to speak alone before rushing off to the Wang show.

Rimes with LeAnn

Though raised in conservative towns in Mississippi and Texas, country crooner LeAnn Rimes, now a Californian, told us at Monday’s Alice + Olivia presentation that she’s ready to sing the praises of gay marriage. “I have a huge gay following, and I’ve been asked to sing at weddings if it’s legalized in my state,” says Rimes, who performed with the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles last year. “So I guess I’ll be like the gay-wedding singer.”

A Wintour solstice

Nicki Minaj describes sitting front-row with Anna Wintour as “intimidating,” but revealed the Vogue editor turned to her for fashion advice. “She was asking me what I thought about the line,” she told us. The rap star was seated with the Vogue editrix at the Carolina Herrera show Monday and didn’t pull any punches when it came to her advice. “I told her my No. 1 style tip, which is — do what the f – – k you want.”
