Sheen’s former ‘Men’ co-star Jon Cryer feared actor ‘was going to die’

Charlie Sheen’s former comedic partner Jon Cryer said he’s not spoken to the Hollywood bad boy — claiming he thought the former “Wall Street” star was going to die.

In a taped appearance on the daytime show “Ellen” that airs today, Cryer said he was genuinely concerned about Sheen’s downward spiral.

“Mostly I was worried that Charlie was going to die,” Cryer said. “That was the big fear for me.”

“And that…that did not occur and I’m thrilled about that,” Cryer added.

Cryer and Sheen were co-stars on the hit CBS show “Two and a Half Men” — until Sheen was booted off the show earlier this year.

During the interview, Ellen DeGeneres asked Cryer, “Now when he said bad things about you, you were so gracious. You were great. You didn’t say anything back. Since then, he has apologized. Have you spoken to him since?”

“We have not spoken,” Cryer said. “And I will accept an apology both public and private. But again, it was in the heat of the moment I imagine when he said… so I did not put a whole lot of credence in it at the time.”
