LOS ANGELES — Marilyn Monroe’s diamond-encrusted wedding band (pictured) from Yankee legend Joe DiMaggio is set to go up for auction and is expected to fetch as much as $500,000.
DiMaggio gave Monroe the platinum ring, with 35 baguette-cut diamonds, at their wedding on Jan. 14, 1954. It was the second marriage for both.
The ring, which is now missing one diamond, is set for auction in December.
