Pilot injured in small plane crash in Connecticut

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. — A small plane crashed Saturday afternoon in southwest Connecticut, injuring its pilot, the News-Times reported.

The aircraft came down on a residential lawn in Ridgefield, at around 12:30pm local time, police said. No one was inside the home at the time of the crash.

The pilot was the only person on board the plane. He was reportedly conscious after the crash and taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries.

The Federal Aviation Administration will investigate the cause of the crash, the News-Times said.
