He allegedly took a beating from former Gov. David Paterson’s stepdaughter — and now he fears even more trouble from her family.
Nursing three stitches above his right eye yesterday, Brian McGuinness is “scared” the Paterson clan will heap all the blame on him for the brawl between him and girlfriend Ashley Dennis, the daughter of Paterson’s wife, sources told The Post yesterday.
“He [is] scared and worried . . . because of her family’s influence,” a police source said. “Like no one will listen to his side.”
McGuinness, 30, of Greenwich Village, was arrested with Dennis, 23, early Saturday after the two came to blows in his apartment. Dennis claimed he choked her, and he said she bashed him with a bottle and slammed a door on his legs, court papers show.
Both refused to comment yesterday, as did Paterson.
