iPhone slaying

A Queens teen was stabbed to death yesterday by a gang of thugs who wanted to steal his iPhone, police said.

A group of four to six teens approached Patrick Dixon, 17, and demanded that he hand over his iPhone at around 11 a.m. on 142nd Street near Foch Boulevard in Jamaica, cops said.

Dixon refused and fought back, and one of the teens slashed him in the neck.

The thugs panicked after blood was spilled and fled without the phone.

Dixon, a student at Thomas A. Edison HS, died in an ambulance en route to Jamaica Hospital.

“He was a good kid, he got into a little trouble, but altogether he’s a good kid,” said a neighbor, who did not wish to be identified by name.

“He was never in anything gang related or any of that s–t. Man, I just lost my nephew,” added Kenny Dunn, 48, of Queens, the victim’s heartbroken uncle.
