A hapless White Sox fan couldn’t pull off a heist at a Chinatown bank yesterday, cops said.

The unarmed crook, sporting dark glasses, a Chicago White Sox baseball cap and a gray jacket, demanded cash from a teller at a Chase branch on Grand Street near the Bowery at 8:20 a.m.

The teller hit the silent alarm and the bandit fled empty-handed on Grand Street.

A man committed suicide by jumping in front of a subway train in Midtown Thursday, authorities said.

The man leaped in front of the oncoming Queensbound E train in the 42nd Street/Eighth Avenue station at 4:20 p.m., sources said. He died instantly.

A 12-year-old girl vanished from her Parkchester home Thursday, police said.

Takkierra Simpson was last spotted leaving her family’s apartment on Castle Hill Avenue near Starling Avenue at around 4:10 p.m.

The 100-pound brunette was wearing blue jeans, a white shirt and black sneakers. No criminality is suspected.

A pedestrian was clinging to life yesterday after being struck by a van in Sunset Park, cops said.

The 64-year-old woman, whose name was not immediately released, was struck by a 2010 Ford vehicle traveling north on Fifth Avenue, as it made a left turn onto 34th Street at about 8:30 a.m., cops said.

The woman was rushed to Lutheran Hospital in critical condition, fire officials said.

The driver of the van received summonses for failure to show due care for a pedestrian and failure to yield, cops said.

A blade-wielding thug attacked a woman in the Sunset Park warehouse where they both work, police said.

Elias Riveras Flores, 21, began talking to the 21-year-old woman, with whom he hadn’t been acquainted, as she was waiting for the elevator at 10 a.m. in the building on 39th Street near Second Avenue.

The victim, feeling uneasy, fled toward the staircase, but Flores chased her, grabbed her from behind and sliced her left cheek.

Responding officers searched the neighborhood and collared Flores, who was charged with felony assault. The woman was taken to Lutheran Hospital in stable condition.

A brazen thief was busted after helping snatch more than $75,000 worth of baubles from a Jackson Heights jewelry store, authorities said.

Bryant Conly, 17, and two armed accomplices were caught on video storming into Angelo’s Jewelers on Roosevelt Avenue near 80th Street at around 1 p.m. on Sept. 23 and ordering a worker into a back room, according to DA Richard Brown.

The thugs then smashed a glass jewelry case and stuffed the pricey trinkets into an employee’s purse, authorities said.

They fled with the purse through a rear door, hopped into a GMC Yukon and sped off.

Responding cops later located the getaway car using its internal GPS system, court papers state.

Officers tracked down Conly Monday on charges of robbery and criminal possession of stolen property.

Police officers collared a crook swiping goods from a car in Richmond Hill, police said.

Israel Rodriguez, 18, caught a cop’s eye while snatching items from a Toyota Camry on 94th Avenue near 84th Street at about 2 a.m. Thursday, cops said.

A panicked Rodriguez fled on foot, but police gave chase and nabbed him two blocks away, cops said. He was charged with petit larceny and unauthorized use of a vehicle.

A teenager was fatally stabbed in Jamaica yesterday, police said.

Patrick Dixon, 17, got into a fight with a group of at least four men at around 11:05 a.m. on 142nd Street near 120th Avenue, and one assailant slashed him in the neck.

The teen was rushed to Jamaica Hospital, where he died, cops said.

The fight appeared to be gang-related, cops said.

No arrests have yet been made.
