Goldie knocks

Life with comic actress Goldie Hawn was no laugh-riot, according to a nasty tell-all by her ex-husband Bill Hudson.

Hudson, the father of Hollywood star Kate Hudson, portrays his ex-wife as a cocaine-sniffing sexpot who loved European men and referred to herself in the third person.

The musician says that his first date with Hawn at a Chinese restaurant in 1975 took a turn for the strange when he belatedly discovered that the man sitting across from him at their table of four was Hawn’s husband, Hudson writes in his book “Two Versions: The Other Side of Fame and Family.”

He remarked to Hawn that the man, director Gus Trikonis, was acting rude. “Gus is a f—ing a–hole,” Hudson confided.

“Oh, um, that’s my husband,” she said with no expression.

“I guess that was a sign of things to come,” Hudson writes.

During their second date at a Rolling Stones concert, Hudson recalls, “a large plate of cocaine came by and she took a huge snort.”

Afterward, he had sex with the still-married Hawn from 1 a.m. to 1 p.m. and they exchanged “I love yous,” Hudson writes.

But there were early signs of discord, he remembers, especially when he brought up her affairs with European men.

“She was also starting to develop the none-too-pleasant habit of referring to herself in the third person. ‘Goldie will do whatever she wants, when she wants,’ she yelled,” Hudson writes.

Before their marriage in 1976, Hawn’s father warned him, “Just watch yourself. I know she’s my daughter, but Goldie tends to want a different man for every mood she’s in.”

Hudson, best known as the lead singer of the Hudson Brothers, divorced Hawn in 1979, and has been long estranged from their children Kate and Oliver.

Hawn did not return calls to comment.
