Here’s a look at “Law & Order: SVU” star Mariska Hargitay, who plays much-beloved Det. Benson, decking a suspected rapist after chasing him through the Chinatown streets in an upcoming episode.
The scene also includes Benson slapping the perp and throwing him to the ground.
The suspect is wearing a No. 17 basketball jersey — it could be a coincidence, but it might be a nod to the “Linsanity” that rocked the city recently.
The episode is expected to air within the month. “L&O: SVU” returns with fresh episodes next Wednesday.
