Police are looking for a cop impersonator (above) who scammed a couple into giving him cash to rent two rooms in a Kingsbridge Heights apartment, authorities said.

Anthony Gonzalez, 48, allegedly showed the man, 41, and woman, 45, a residence at 2825 Claflin Ave. on Feb. 10, and told them he worked as a detective, displaying a fake shield, police said.

He then allegedly said they could rent the rooms for $200 a week, and collected $2,300 from them as security, cops said.

When the couple went back to the building, the keys he gave them didn’t work, authorities said.

Police say Gonzalez stands 5-foot-4, weighs about 180 pounds, and has a scar on the left side of his face.

He also sports skull and heart tattoos on his arms and the word “NETA” on his chest, cops added.
